Terms and Conditions – Members Site (MyNCRE Login)


These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE), Members Site (MyNCRE login) hosted at www.ncre.org. By using this website, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with these Terms and Conditions or any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Members Site (MyNCRE login).


The NCRE Members Site (MyNCRE Login) is intended for the person who has paid their membership dues for the July 1, 2020– June 30, 2021 year.

  • New Career Member
  • Individual Member
  • Institutional Membership (designated contact person and/or program coordinator)

Registered Membership Account

In order to access the MyNCRE Login membership features you must create an account.  You represent and warrant that the information provided to NCRE upon completing the membership application, is true, accurate, current and complete. It is a member responsibility to ensure information is kept accurate and up-to-date.

Username and Password

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your username/password including: maintaining the confidentiality of your account, username and password, for restricting access to your computer and for logging off of the NCRE Members Site (MyNCRE Login) at the end of each session.

It is a violation of these Terms and Conditions for you to create a membership account for a Non-Member of NCRE, create a different account without permission if your intimal account was disabled.

You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, username and password.  If you have reason to believe your account is no longer secure (for example, in the event of an unauthorized disclosure or use of your account, username or password), it is your responsibility as a member to notify NCRE immediately.

Email Address

You provide your email address to NCRE by registering through the NCRE RE-MAIL List and/or your membership application for the purpose of receiving information such as, but not limited to NCRE President’s Messages, Administrative Office Updates, Job Announcements, Annual Conference Updates, Workshops and Training Opportunities, Legislative Updates, Awards and Scholarship Announcements, NIDRR and RSA Announcements/Grant Opportunities, and Newsletters.

Mailing Address

The mailing address you provide on your membership application is used for the sole purpose of creating a professional mailing label to send Rehabilitation Research, Policy, and Education (NCRE Professional Journal) through Springer Publishing Company. NCRE is not responsible for or guarantees receipt of the professional journal when the mailing address provided is not accurate or up to date. It is a member responsibility to ensure the mailing address is current.

User Guidelines for Members Site

Unless otherwise stated, NCRE owns the intellectual property rights in the Members Site (MyNCRE Login) website and material on the website. The NCRE.org website hosts the Members Site (MyNCRE Login) and member profile accounts, council groups, forums, blogs, all of which are equipped with commenting abilities. Do not spam the network by posting information that does not pertain to rehabilitation counseling, education, research or disabilities.

While we invite you to share your opinions and questions they must not be used to distribute spam message including but not limited to the following: post commercial advertisements, advertise or spread links to malicious or dangerous, share other Organizational content, advertisements for profit entity postings, or completely off-topic materials, i.e. roommate needed, for sale, etc. These are not chat rooms; please do not hold personal dialogues via the networks (forums, groups, blogs or profile account)

NCRE retains the right to moderate any comment or written content submitted to the Members Site and to remove any content deemed to have violated our policies and/or Third Party Use without notice.

You may view, and download for caching purposes from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions.

You must not:

  • Publish material from this website (including republication on another website);
  • Sell, rent, share material from the website;
  • Show any material from the website in public;
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on this website for a commercial, recruiting or other purposes;
  • Edit or otherwise modify any material on the website; or
  • Redistribute material from this website [except for content specifically and expressly made available for redistribution].

NCRE Communication Standards of Conduct

NCRE is an inclusive organization and will not tolerate discriminatory posts, comments, or language. By sending emails that are confrontational, hostile, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, religion, etc. will not be permitted and may result in account suspension or termination. Please be respectful of other members and cautious about your ‘tone’. Do not berate or insult posters or their postings and their content.

Termination of Online Membership Account

NCRE reserves the right to suspend and or terminate access to the Membership Site. Members will be notified within 5 business days. Your membership and membership benefits will remain but access to the Members Site (MyNCRE Login) will be suspended and or terminated.

Credit Card Payment

NCRE’s credit card security requirements as required by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Program. NCRE is committed to these security policies to protect information utilized by NCRE in attaining its business goals.

NCRE is enrolled in Trustwave’s Trusted Commerce™ program to validate compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) mandated by all the major credit card associations including: American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, Visa, Inc. and Visa Europe.

You can locate and validate NCRE’s enrollment, by clicking on the Trustwave, Trusted Commerce Seal, which is located under Payment Information for each membership application.

Scope of Compliance (Payment)

The PCI requirements apply to all systems that store, process, or transmit cardholder data. Currently, NCRE’s cardholder environment consists only of limited payment applications (typically point-of-sale systems) connected to the Internet, but does not include storage of cardholder data on any computer system.

Privacy Policy

At certain points during website navigation to NCRE.org and the Members Site (MyNCRE Login) you may be asked to share your email address or other personal identifying information. As provided in these Terms and Conditions, such information is not distributed, rented or sold to a third party or publicly visible without your express written consent unless otherwise indicated by law.

Applicable Law

You acknowledge, consent and agree that NCRE may access, preserve, and disclose your account information and the User Content you have posted if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary in the sole opinion of NCRE.


NCRE.org and its Membership Site (MyNCRE Login) original content are the sole property of NCRE including but not limited to: graphics, images, illustrations, videos and/or video clips, photography, design, written and other materials and other matters related to the Site are protected under applicable copyrights, intellectual property and proprietary laws. The copying, reproduction, use, modification or publication by you of any such matters or any part of the Site is strictly prohibited, without our express prior written permission.

It is permissible to link content from this site as long as the original source is clearly stated, but the reproduction or partial modification of content is not permitted. Exceptions are granted only if the member or third parties receive prior written consent from NCRE.

By using or accessing the Members Site (MyNCRE Login) in any way, viewing or browsing the Site, or adding your own content to the Site, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of your Membership Account.

Third-Party Use

The Membership Site (MyNCRE Login) may contain links to other websites and online resources that are not owned or controlled by NCRE. NCRE has no control over, and therefore cannot assume responsibility for, the content or general practices of any of these third party sites and/or services. Therefore, we strongly advise you to read the entire terms and conditions and privacy policy of any site you visit as a result of following a link that is posted on our site.

On-Line Surveys

Survey requests sent by the NCRE Administrative Office are optional and responses or comments submitted through our on-line surveys and questionnaires are anonymous and kept strictly confidential.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics but it does not record any personally identifiable information per Google’s privacy policy.


All content contained on the ncre.org (MyNCRE login site) is edited, checked, and verified for accuracy as much as possible. However, we cannot guarantee either its accuracy or the safety or external links it might contain. NCRE.org as well as its owners, affiliates, and contributing authors can therefore not be held responsible for problems or damage that occur as a result of making use of material contained on our site.

Changes to This Agreement

NCRE reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, we ask and advise that you not use or continue to access the NCRE Membership Site (MyNCRE Login) immediately.
